::K high all in::

i think i played this hand pretty well. i hate to say this, but most noob will not be able to make this play. so heres a lesson or 2. game is no-limit headsup


K9 Vs QT.... i was big blind.

Dealer raise to 60 usd.. we have bout 400 each.. i call.... flop is 442.... i check.. he bet 60, i went all in.... he call with QT(okie, him calling is wrong, but if he had push all in, then its a different thing).... of course he didnt improve. i won the pot....

okies, heres the thing... its not about any read here now... K high is not exactly very strong too..... but the reason why i think this is a positive EV play is because, first and foremost, for him to raise preflop, he couldnt have 2... and whether he has 4 is another thing. the chance of him have the 4, is about 9%.... almost non exsistent... so the question now, does he have over pair or Ace high?

if he has any pair, he will instant call.. Ace high, he might fold(since i push all in, i have folding equity)... and even if he has any pair, my K or 9 might hit and win the pot. with the dead money inside, against his distribution of hand, i'm good most of the time. :) and sometimes can make ace high fold.

::biggest hand of the night::

as you guys know, normally i dont play deepstack, but this opponent is a fish. jus cant leave him alone even though he was deep stack.. anyway, i bad beated him.. here it goes.. :P

i raise to 80 with dealer.. he reraise to 140..... he has AQ, i have QJ... flop Q92 with flush draw possible, he bet pot(240), i raise to 480.. he call.. turn T.. he check, i all in 700 more, he call.. .. river J.. haha. shoik

Pot is 2700++ usd. ;)

:: My games are dieing down::

okie, this is damn sick....... i've sat at like 6 tables of 10-20 NL headsup shortstack....

guess what, i sat for like 7 hours.. and only managed to play 100 hands(about 40 mins worth of poker).. its either noone wants to play me anymore or its a friday night, and lesser player plays poker.... i hope its the latter.

if this trend continues, i'm gonna make very little money for the month onwards. :(

so far, my FL is down like 15K usd(yes, my bread and butter game is down!!), and my NL hu is up 24k usd for the month.. so overall up like 7k usd.. i'm actually thinking of quitting FL for good. too slow and tiring. NL is easier, faster, and not so card depandant to a certain extend.


okies, a little update bout my life..... well, decided to renovate my room. jus my room only though. cant be bothered to do up the living room, afterall, i seldom go out of my room! i can stay the whole night inside, smoke in my toilet, the occasional meals, thats about it..

surprisely, it only will take 2-3 days to renovate. i reckon i will be able to bear the hassle...

but then again, i'm having 2nd thoughts to do up my room or not, especially if i to melbourne for a few months....

most likely, its a yes though. about time... need a hugh LCD tv to go along with it. gonna make it super chill and nice ;).
